There is still some confusion on removal of yard waste, so here is a "refresher"...

  • Yard waste pickup runs from the first week of April through the last week of November of each year.
  • Yard waste must be placed in one of the following:

    1.  Green Ecosafe compostable bags, currently available at Roger's Vineland foods on Vineland Road (as noted in previous newsletters, the clear bags from previous years are no longer accepted).  The Township does not sell any bags.
    2.  Brown paper yard bags available at any department store (Ace, Lowe's, Meijers, etc.)
    3.  A yard waste cart rented from Best Way Disposal; or
    4.  A yard cart of your own, clearly labeled "Yard Waste".

For any other questions on yard waste removal, please call Tammy at Best Way, 463-3232.  Nominal fees may be charged for special services such as brush or large item disposal.

A reminder to residents that our contract does not cover large item removal such as water heaters, construction materials, furniture, appliances, brush piles, etc.  Please call Tammy at Best Way and make arrangements for a special pickup prior to setting these items out by the road.
